Data & account deletion

This page explains how end users and account administrators can request deletion of personal data associated with Voiceback.AI. It supports transparency requirements for app stores and data protection laws.

1. Who this applies to

These instructions apply to individuals who have a direct relationship with us (for example, a registered user of Voiceback.AI) and to authorized representatives of business customers who manage accounts for their organization.

If you interacted with a business that uses our platform (for example, as a chat customer), you should contact that business first; they control much of the data shown in their workspace.

2. How to request account deletion

You may request deletion by:

  • Sending an email from the address associated with your account to support@voiceback.ai with the subject line “Account deletion request”; and
  • Including your full name, the email address on the account, and any organization or store name that helps us locate your profile.

If in-product account deletion becomes available, we will update this page with those steps. Until then, email is the primary channel.

3. What we delete

After we verify your request, we will delete or anonymize personal data associated with your user account where retention is not required by law or legitimate business needs. This may include profile information, authentication identifiers linked to you, and personal content you uploaded that we store on your behalf.

Aggregated or de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably be linked to you may be retained. Backups may persist for a limited period before automatic rotation.

4. What we may retain

We may retain certain information when the law requires or permits, for example:

  • Records needed for tax, accounting, or regulatory compliance;
  • Information necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements; and
  • Security, fraud-prevention, and abuse logs for a limited time.

5. Timeline

We aim to confirm receipt within a few business days and complete verified deletion requests within thirty (30) days, unless a longer period is permitted by law or the request is unusually complex. If we need more information to verify your identity, we will let you know.

6. Organization / workspace data

Business customers are responsible for removing agents, stores, or other records they control. If you are an employee or agent of a customer, your organization’s administrator may need to remove your access or profile in addition to any request you send to us.
